Puzzle Games
1. Words with friends HD

If you like scrabble, you’ll love this game. You get to play one on one with someone in the world, and you get to play your next word at your convenience. I’ve had games last for over 10 days.
2. Touch Rummy HD
Ever played rummikub? This one is in single player mode and is quite nice to practice shouting Rummikub, I hope they don’t arrest me on the gautrain.
3. Scrabble (+tile racks)

Best played with ipods or iphones as tile racks. You use the ipad as a scrabble board, very high novelty factor.
4. Jigsaw Puzzles
Make puzzles using your own photos and watch time go by. Up to 96 pieces.
5. Field Runners
Not on the cheap side, but quite fun. More of a strategy game, really.
Kid Friendly Games
6. Soosiz HD
This game is addictive, I love it. Ye olde jump-for-coins-and-land-on-monsters nintendo style game.
7. Angry Birds HD

You haven’t heard about it??? Doesn’t it get damp under that rock?
8. Tesla Wars

This game is quite addictive, squash the little people with your finger.
First Person Games
9. Infinity Blade
You fight, you die, you fight, you die… Very nice first person sword slashing.
10. Real Racing 2 HD
Not the only racing game, but the one i recommend above all the others. Hold on to the sides of your iPad and drive, baby… drive it like you stole it.
